What's the difference between Photo Books & Photo Albums?

Before you get started, it's important to ensure you're creating the right format for your moments. Discover the difference between books & albums below.

Photo Books:

Page type: Art paper, flexible

Page count: 24 to 200

Binding: Classic Photo Books are PUR bound. Premium Photo Books are section sewn. Pages lie near flat.

Paper options: 2 to choose from for the Classic range, 4 to choose from for the Premium range.

Cover fabric: Linen or coated cloth (buckram). Vegan leather upgrade available. *

Photo Albums:

Page type: Board. Stiff, inflexible, heavy (approx. 1mm thick overall)

Page count: 24 to 80**

Binding: Lay-flat flush mounted. Pages open to lie perfectly flat.

Paper options: 1 option available for our Classic range, 2 to choose from for the Premium range.

Cover fabric: Linen or coated cloth (buckram). Milano leather upgrade available.*

 

*The coated cloth (buckram) and leather upgrades are available for the Premium range only.

**Please note, for albums over 46 pages we will use a marginally thinner board (0.75mm compared to 1mm) to accommodate the higher page count.

Both Photo Albums and Photo Books can have a Presentation Box. However, Presentation Boxes are not available for Small Classic Photo Books or for Photo Albums over 64 pages.
