What Are PDF Proofs And Why Should I Check Them?

PDF proofs are the most accurate way to preview your project. We highly recommend downloading and checking your PDF proof before placing your order.

Once you have finished designing your project and it is ready to print, you will have the option to request a PDF proof from your My Books page.

After placing your request, you will receive an email with the PDF proof. It can take a few minutes for the PDF proof to process, so please allow some time for the email to reach your inbox.

Once you have received the email containing your proof, you can open it and complete a final check of your project. This is the most accurate preview of your project and your images will be shown in their full resolution. We highly recommend reviewing this PDF and checking for any potential image quality and layout spacing issues (especially if you have used the Free Transform Tool). A great way to check the quality of your images is view the PDF at a 200% zoom.

If you make further adjustments to your project, however minor, we recommend requesting another PDF proof to check the updates you have made.

If you have requested a PDF proof but have not received it after a few hours, please check your spam and junk folders. If you can still not find it, please contact our Customer Care team here.

Please note that the PDF proof option is not available for the MILK Books Photo App extension for Mac.
