Why do my images look blurry in the design studio?
Your images may appear blurry or pixelated in our Design Studio software after upload. Please don't be concerned!
The Design Studio renders your images at a lower resolution to increase speed and functionality during the book-creation process.
We recommend uploading your images at 300 dpi or higher for best results. If you don't have any low resolution warnings (see here for more info), and if you've zoomed in on your images 200% prior to upload to check the sharpness of the focus and the image quality, then your images should print as expected. If you have created via the MILK Books website, you can also request a PDF proof from your MY BOOKS page before placing your order to do a final check of your project, including checking image quality.
